Bodum Bistro Electric Stand Mixer | Multi
Designed by architect Michael Graves in 1985 this kettle is the first of a group of products designed in the 80's and 90's by the architect. This was the first group of products by an American designer to be included in the Alessi catalog. It opened the way for the playful design style that subsequently characterized the 90's and thanks to an inspired mix of post-modern and pop idioms it has become one of the internationally recognized icons of the 80's.

Designed by Michele De Lucchi, the Plissà kettle combines functional aspects with a plastic and fascinating design that reveals the creator's architectural background, as well as his passion for handicrafts and for sculpture. Like a fabric that a thick pleating transforms into a three-dimensional shape, this kettle is reminiscent of a haute couture dress, a beautiful object to be left on display on your kitchen top. Electric kettle in thermoplastic resin. US plug.
